9/25/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved QMHP-A greeted Ms. Broadnax upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home setting, Ms. Broadnax appeared to be in a cheerful mood evident by her overall disposition. QMHP-A inquired d her morning. Ms. Broadnax verbalized that her morning was going well. QMHP-A informed Ms. Broadnax of the goal and objective for this session. Ms. Broadnax did not present any symptoms of S/I or H/I at the time of the session. QMHP-A challenged Ms. Broadnax to identify her current level of anxiety. QMHP-A challenged Ms. Broadnax to identify ways she copes with her anxiety. QMHP-A engaged Ms. Broadnax in discussion surrounding identified ways she copes with anxiety as she continues to express her concerns about the current COVID-19 pandemic and all of the other people surrounding her in other cities are dying. QMHP-A engaged Ms. Broadnax in an article entitled âUnderstanding Your Anxietyâ. QMHP-A informed Ms. Broadnax that the purpose of this session was for Ms. Broadnax to gain insight on positive ways to cope with anxiety. QMHP-A engaged Ms. Broadnax in discussion surrounding the importance of utilizing positive coping skills in an effort to decrease anxiety. Ms. Broadnax appeared to be receptive to QMHP-Asâ interventions and services that were provided to her during the session. Ms. Broadnax communicated â1â as her current level of anxiety and stress level. During the activity and the reading of the article, Ms. Broadnax was able to identify ways she copes with anxiety experienced. Ms. Broadnax also demonstrated the ability to communicate positive coping skills in an effort to decrease anxiety which was discussed during article. Ms. Broadnax communicated the importance of utilizing positive coping skills in an effort to decrease anxiety as âto help control it as much as you canâ. At the end of the session, Ms. Broadnax expressed to QMHP-A, âI really hope that they can find a cure for this virus because we do not know if we are going to live or die the next dayâ.
